Tropical drinks to the pool? Not so fast, says the Senator who visited Abrego Garcia in El Salvador

There were pool furniture in the background. There were tropical drinks that looked like Margarita garnished with cherries. And then there was a deported prisoner and the American senator, sitting and chat.

This senator, Chris Van Holen of Maryland, accused the El Salvador government on Friday for striving to draw a photo of a calm rest for the wrongly deported Kilmar Abango Garcia by organizing his meeting with drinks that appear as alcohol and fishing at the meeting.

Van Holen cited the stage with a term that ricocheted on social media during the bigger part of the day: Margaritat.

“No one drank Margarita or Sugar Water or whatever,” said the democratic senator, calling the whole situation a “lesson” in “the lengths that President Bouke will do to mislead people about what is happening.”

A citizen of Salvadoran, who lived in Maryland, Abrego Garcia was sent to Salvador by the Trump administration in March, despite the immigration court order, preventing it from deporting it.

US President Donald Trump and President of El Salvador, a top bouquet, said this week they had no basis to return him to the United States, even when the Trump administration called his deportation a mistake and the US Supreme Court called on the administration to facilitate his return.

During a press conference on Friday at Dulles International Airport, just after his return from El Salvador, Maryland Democrat said that Bouke was striving to “mislead” people about what happened during his meeting with Abrego Garcia, partly by posting a photo of drinks that look like alcohol.

When he and Abrego Garcia first sat at a meeting at the hotel, where Van Holen stayed, the senator said that “they just had glasses of water on the table, maybe a little coffee.”

Subsequently, Van Holen said, “One of the governmental people” on the sidelines of their half-hour meeting other drinks on the table, with salt or sugar around the top-“But they look like Margarita.”

On Thursday night, Bouke posted photos of Van Holen, sitting with an acre Garcia, including with beverages garnished with Marashino’s cherries.

“Kilmar Abrego Garcia, miraculously resurrected from the” Death Camps “and” Torture, “now sipping Margarita with Senator Van Holen in the tropical paradise of El Salvador!” Bouke wrote, adding emoji on a tropical drink.

Van Holen also noted that the bouquet government initially offered he and Abgo Garcia to hold their meeting by the pool at the hotel, not at the restaurant where they called.

“They want to create this appearance that life was just wonderful for Kilmar,” said Van Holen.

In Friday’s News Conference, Van Hollen Also Revealed That Abrego Garcia Told Him That He Was No Longer Being Held at the High-Security Terrorism Confinement Center, OR CECOT, ORE HEW Leaving the US Van Hollen Said He Was Initially Denied Entry to The Facility But Surmsed Friday that had been because abrego Garcia Had ALREADY BEEN MA.

“They decided it was not a good look to continue to hold Abrego Garcia without anyone having access to it,” Van Holen said. He added that Abrego Garcia had told him that he had not had any contact with anyone outside prison since he had been removed from the United States.

It was unclear where the abrego Garcia was taken after meeting with Van Holen.

Abrego Garcia’s wife, Jennifer Vasquez Surah, wiped tears while Van Holen talks about her husband’s comments about wanting to talk to her wife. She did not speak during the press conference.
